FARAH Day 2016

Fundamental and Applied Research for Animals & Health

In 2012, the Scientific Staff  of the Faculty of veterinary Medicine organised its first annual meeting. Each annual meeting has been a great success with an average of 100 abstracts submitted, among which about twenty were selected for an oral presentation by an independent scientific committee.

In 2013, an interdisciplinary structural research centre was created at the University of Liège. It has been named FARAH for “Fundamental and Applied Research for Animals & Health”.

The founding principles of the FARAH incorporate the notion of interaction between scientists of the Centre and, as such, the annual meeting of the scientific staff  gives us the opportunity to share our knowledge. Also, it is now under the auspices of the FARAH that the annual meeting will be held with the same organizers (i.e. members of the Scientific Staff ). Hopefully, this 3rd FARAH-Day will gather again a larger abstracts dedicated to fundamental, clinical and or applied researches.
